As  a region we aim to promote and encourage participation in snow sports throughout the Eastern Region, to encourage participation in Regional, National and International snow sport events and to assist in the provision of a framework for running competitive and recreational snow sports at all levels for all age groups and abilities.

The Region provides the expertise and electronic timing (ALGE) to help the member clubs  organise and run a "Summer League" race series which includes a closed Championship and a Team Dual Slalom Event. The emphasis of these events is on enjoyment and fun.

On behalf of Snowsport England the region also runs one or two "Grand Prix" series races as well as assisting member clubs to run their own "Club National" events.

Other activities include the organisation of various workshops, seminars and courses, to assist interested parties to understand more fully the sport of ski racing and snow sports in general.

An annual team parallel slalom event, the "Tri Regions" is organised by ERSA in conjunction with LSRESA and SRSA. This is open to all ERSA members, more information can be found on the "Tri Regions" page.
